At McVean Incubator Farm, we are dedicated to nurturing growth and cultivating futures through our Community Farmer Program. Participants must complete at least one season as a Community Gardener to qualify, as this advanced program focuses on managing larger plots and developing a profitable market garden business, encompassing essential skills like marketing and sales. Join us in transforming passion into profit while fostering sustainable agricultural practices! Each spring, you receive a fully prepared 1500 square foot organic plot by April 1st, using only organic compost or animal manure for fertilization. Conveniently located water barrels and provided trellises ensure you have everything needed to hand water your plants and support their growth. Next Steps 1) Use the contact us button to let us know you are interested! 2) We will answer any questions you may have 3) You will be added to the waitlist 4) Arrange a tour of the farm 5) Pay Fee and sign lease for the season by March 1st 6) Access your plot on March 15 up until October 31 7) You will need to visit the farm at least to 3 times a week to effectively manage your plot and prep veggies for sale.
