Fall Garlic Planting

At Mcvean Incubator Farm, our garlic planting program kicks off in mid-October, providing you with land and enough garlic seed for 300 vibrant bulbs, ready to be harvested the following summer. Once harvested, your garlic can be stored for months, allowing you to share with loved ones and even save some for replanting. Join us in nurturing growth and cultivating futures through this rewarding agricultural experience! Next Steps 1) Use the contact us button to let us know you are interested! 2) We will answer any questions you may have 3) You will be added to the waitlist 4) Arrange a tour of the farm 5) Pay Fee and sign lease for the season by October 1st 6) Arrange a time between October 15 and November 15 to plant your garlic. You will be provided with garlic seeds and rows prepped and ready for planting. 7) After taking the winter off you will be required to visit the farm and weed your garlic in the following spring. This usually requires 1-2 short visits each month from May to July 8) Your garlic will be ready for harvest in late July or early August. You will harvest your garlic and take it home.
